Mark making inspired by landscape is the common thread pulling together the work of the five artists presented in this exhibition. Textiles, wood engraving, sculpture, ceramics and metal are used to reflect the artists’ common preoccupation with the marks and traces left on natural and human environments.
Curated by lead textile artist Kathryn Green, the exhibition also includes work by guild members Anne Hayward, Richard Hayward and Frances Marr, along with metal artist Samantha English. Kathryn observes that their work shares the same resonance and qualities, sensitively rendered in their respective disciplines.
The exhibition is open daily except Mondays until Sunday, May 30th.
